LA METRO Blue Line Signal Rehabilitation Project

Los Angeles, 2019 - 2020

The Metro Blue Line Signal Rehabilitation and Operational Improvements Project is a Design-build project which involves the addition of 4 new track interlockings, one siding track, refurbishment of the OCS in downtown Los Angeles and Long Beach, replacement of existing OCS with new OCR at certain specific locations, rehabilitate existing mainline train control system, and the modernization of the train control system in the LACMAT Blue Line Yard (Division 11). DC Engineering Group prepared the traffic engineering plans for the construction phase of the project along with performing coordination services between the contractor, City of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works.
